سمجھا لہو کی بوند اگر تو اسے تو خيردل آدمی کا ہے فقط اک جذبہء بلند
گردش مہ و ستارہ کي ہے ناگوار اسے
دل آپ اپنے شام و سحر کا ہے نقش بند
جس خاک کے ضمير ميں ہے آتش چنار
ممکن نہيں کہ سرد ہو وہ خاک ارجمند
